Welcome
Hello, I am a jazz singer with over 25 years performance experience, West London-based. I have performed at many of London’s top Jazz Venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, The Pheasantry, the Royal Albert Hall (Verde Restaurant), the National Portrait Gallery, the National Theatre Foyer, Spice of Life, I have also held residency gigs at The City Pipe, Cafe du Village and the Wisley. I also am a regular performer in Oxford, Bristol, Cheltenham, Leicester and Burton. I trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational School, and have taken various lessons and courses with UK’s Jazz greats including: Claire Martin, Liane Carroll, Pete Churchill and Anita Wardell.
My main band consists of Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Drums, I also perform as a Duo, Trio, Quintet and Sextet. We perform in private functions across the UK, in Weddings, Birthday Parties, and many other wonderful events. With a large repertoire of songs I am very versatile in my gigs and can adjust to what the suits the event and audience. With Styles ranging from: Swing, 1920’s gatsby themed, 1930’s through to 1960’s, Jazzy, Funk, Soul, Folk, Latin and Musical Theatre.
My main influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone, I’m continually inspired by modern singers such as Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux – and many more – people have described my voice “like bathing in chocolate”.
I performs regularly as part of a duo or with a trio, with the following musicians:
